The temperatures have dropped, the trees are adorned with crisp leaves and the pumpkin spice latte controversy is in full swing. It can only mean one thing, it’s officially Fall. While there’s plenty of hype going around as to whether or not you’re a pumpkin spice flavor enthusiast or not, come Autumn, I’m always way more excited for the fashion! I love that the cooler weather means opportunity for layering and transitioning into longer sleeves while watching the next great season trend take flight. And this year I’m running dead ahead, fully engrossed in all things embroidery. Typically you might envision deep oranges, mustard yellows and browns when you think of Fall fashion trends but this year we aren’t shying away from color. Instead, rather than swapping out your closet for an entirely new wardrobe, we’re taking all of our favorite Spring and Summer inspired blouses and stretching them through the next season too! One of my favorite blouses this Summer was a black three quarter sleeve tunic from Cowboy Hardware Official.
Featuring stunning pink and teal embroiled florals, it’s an easy piece to style whether you’re in cut off jeans or white skinnies. This Fall, instead of pairing this tunic with a pair of denim shorts, I paired it with a pair of simple black skinny jeans, hot pink closed toe heels and a felt hat. Typically,in warmer seasons I might style this top with a great denim skirt or comfortable leggings. This Fall though, I've styled it with a pair of boots, black jeans and of course, a felt hat.
